Sales Navigator Advanced Plus: what it costs and what it syncs

Quick answer

LinkedIn does not publish a price for Sales Navigator Advanced Plus. Its own comparison page says the cost is customised to your team’s size and asks you to request a demo. What LinkedIn will tell you: Core is US$119.99 a month per licence, Advanced is US$159.99, and Advanced Plus is the only tier that syncs with a CRM at all.

We make a Chrome extension that saves LinkedIn profiles into CRMs, so we have a stake in this question. Worth knowing before you read on: four of the six CRMs we connect are ones LinkedIn’s own sync does not cover.

What does Sales Navigator Advanced Plus cost?

There is no list price. LinkedIn’s comparison page shows a figure for Core and Advanced and, for Advanced Plus, a request-a-demo button and a line saying pricing is customised to your sales team’s size. The product page for the tier shows no price either. So the honest answer is that the two published tiers tell you the floor, and everything above it is a conversation with a salesperson. The figures you will see quoted elsewhere come from resellers and pricing round-ups, not from LinkedIn.

Which CRMs does Sales Navigator sync with?

Four, and only on Advanced Plus: HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Sales and Salesforce. Four more appear on LinkedIn’s list with less: Pega, SAP and SugarCRM get embedded profiles, and Freshworks gets embedded experiences. Those are Sales Navigator showing up inside your CRM’s screens, not records moving between the two. Everything else is absent. Pipedrive, Capsule, Zoho, Close, Attio, a spreadsheet: none of them is on the list, at any price. If that is your CRM, Advanced Plus does not become the answer when your budget grows.

What is Sales Navigator activity writeback?

The part of CRM sync that sends your Sales Navigator activity back the other way. LinkedIn logs InMails, messages, calls, notes and Smart Links views into the CRM record. An admin turns it on for the contract, each seller authenticates to the CRM themselves, and individual users can turn it off. It is the reason the tier exists for large teams, and it is worth the quote only if your CRM is one of the four.

What Advanced Plus adds beyond CRM sync

LinkedIn names five things on the tier’s own page: lead and contact creation, advanced CRM integrations, custom ROI reporting, embedded experiences, and tailored onboarding. The one that decides most purchases is the second. The ROI reporting is usually what gets it signed off.

What we see in the field

PortifyLead connects six places today. Two of them, Salesforce and HubSpot, are on LinkedIn’s sync list. The other four, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Capsule and Google Sheets, are not, and that is the ordinary case rather than the exception. The CRMs LinkedIn syncs with are the ones large enterprises buy. The ones a small team picks for itself are the ones it does not.

Questions

Is Sales Navigator Advanced Plus worth it?

If your CRM is one of the four LinkedIn syncs with, and your team is large enough for the reporting to matter, the quote is worth asking for. If your CRM is not one of the four, the sync you would be paying for does not exist for you.

Can I get CRM sync on the Advanced plan?

No. LinkedIn restricts the CRM integration to Advanced Plus. Core and Advanced do not include it at any level.

Does Sales Navigator sync with Pipedrive?

No. Pipedrive is on neither the full-sync list nor the partial one. Nothing you buy from LinkedIn connects Sales Navigator to a Pipedrive pipeline.

How do I get LinkedIn contacts into a CRM LinkedIn does not support?

You type them in, or you use a browser tool that saves them for you. That is what PortifyLead does: you review the profile, and the record is created or updated in the CRM you already use.

Do I need Sales Navigator at all to save contacts to a CRM?

No. A regular LinkedIn account is enough for a browser tool that reads the profile you are looking at. Sales Navigator is a prospecting subscription, not a requirement for saving a contact.

Your CRM is probably not on LinkedIn’s list. Save to it anyway.

PortifyLead is a Chrome extension that saves the LinkedIn profile you are viewing into the CRM you already use, on a regular LinkedIn account. You review every value before it is written, and someone already in the CRM is updated rather than added twice.
