The best LinkedIn Chrome extensions for sales reps in 2026
Disclosure: we make PortifyLead, one of the eight extensions in this guide. It is judged on the same five points as the others, and its drawbacks are listed with theirs.
Most LinkedIn Chrome extensions for sales reps do one of two jobs: find a prospect’s email and phone number, or save the prospect to your CRM. Pick the wrong kind and you pay for credits you never use, or your contacts end up in a spreadsheet.
For emails and phone numbers, start with Apollo, Lusha or Kaspr. To keep your CRM in step with LinkedIn, look at Surfe, LinkMatch or PortifyLead. Below, all eight are compared on price, free plan and limits.
All eight extensions at a glance
The table sorts the eight extensions by the job they do. Start with the second column. Most of these tools find contact details, and only the CRM extensions save a profile you already have. Prices are the cheapest paid plan on monthly billing, per user where the vendor says so.
| Extension | Main job | Sends contacts to | Free plan | Cheapest paid plan, per month | Chrome Web Store rating |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Apollo.io | Finds emails and phone numbers, runs outreach | Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft | 75 credits a month | $65 | 4.7 from 2,200 ratings |
| Lusha | Finds emails and direct dials | Salesforce, HubSpot, monday CRM and others | 40 credits a month | $49.90 | 4.6 from 1,900 ratings |
| Kaspr | Finds phone numbers and emails | Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho | 15 email and 5 phone credits a month | $65 | 4.7 from 1,200 ratings |
| Surfe | Saves profiles to your CRM and finds contact details | Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Copper, Google Sheets | 20 email and 5 mobile credits a month | $49 | 4.4 from 59 ratings |
| LinkMatch | Saves profiles to your CRM and shows who is already in it | HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Bigin, Copper, Close, Insightly, CSV | 14-day trial | €21.99 | 5.0 from 11 ratings (Pipedrive version) |
| PortifyLead | Saves the profile you are viewing, after you review each field | Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Capsule, Google Sheets | 15 saves a month | $15 | No ratings yet |
| Evaboot | Exports Sales Navigator searches with emails | HubSpot, Zapier, Make, Clay, CSV | None published | $9 | No rating shown |
| LeadDelta | Organises your LinkedIn network and finds contact details | HubSpot (beta) and Zapier, from the Pro plan | 7-day trial | $25 | 4.8 from 112 ratings |
How we compared them
We started from the extensions that rank for “LinkedIn Chrome extension” and the tools that appear most often in the roundups ranking for it. We kept the ones that work on a LinkedIn profile and send the result somewhere useful. Automation tools that send invitations or messages for you are left out, because this guide covers getting contact details into the system you sell from.
Each tool was compared on the same five points, taken from its own pricing page, help centre and Chrome Web Store listing on 16 September 2026.
| What we compared | Why it matters to a rep |
|---|---|
| What it does on a profile, and on Sales Navigator | Decides whether it fits the way you prospect |
| Where the contact ends up | A contact in the tool’s own database still has to reach your CRM |
| What the free plan includes | Credits and saves run out at different speeds |
| The cheapest paid plan, billed monthly | What you pay before any annual discount |
| Limits the vendor publishes | These are the drawbacks listed with each tool |
For PortifyLead we also used what we know from building it, including the problems we hit saving to Pipedrive. That part is further down, and it applies to any extension that writes to a CRM.
Extensions that find emails and phone numbers
Apollo, Lusha and Kaspr add a panel to LinkedIn that reveals contact details the profile does not show. All three charge in credits, and all three have a free plan. The difference that matters most is what a credit buys, because phone numbers cost more than emails everywhere.
| Tool | Free each month | Cheapest paid plan, monthly billing | What the paid plan includes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apollo.io | 75 credits | Basic, $65 per seat | 2,500 credits a month |
| Lusha | 40 credits: 1 per email, 5 per phone number | Starter, $49.90 | 400 credits a month, which do not roll over |
| Kaspr | 15 email, 5 phone and 5 direct email credits | Starter, $65 per user | Unlimited B2B emails under a fair use policy, 100 phone credits |
Apollo.io: best for finding and emailing prospects from one account
| Best for | Finding contacts and emailing them from one account |
| Free plan | 75 credits a month |
| Cheapest paid plan | Basic: $65 per seat monthly, or $49 billed annually |
| Works on | LinkedIn, Sales Navigator (no bulk actions), Gmail, Google Calendar |
| Chrome Web Store | 4.7 from 2,200 ratings, 1 million users |
Apollo’s extension is the front end of a larger sales platform. On LinkedIn it finds emails and phone numbers and can save search results into lists in bulk. The same extension works in Gmail and Google Calendar, adds contacts to sequences, logs tasks, and shows Apollo data on top of Salesforce and HubSpot records.
The drawbacks are about scope. You need an Apollo account, and Apollo’s pricing page lists CRM integrations from the Basic plan upwards.
On Sales Navigator, its help article says you cannot select leads or take bulk actions from search results. Its store listing still describes an older free tier, so trust the pricing page over the listing. Pick Apollo if you want one tool that finds a contact and then emails them, and your CRM is Salesforce or HubSpot.
Lusha: best for direct dials in more places than LinkedIn
| Best for | Phone numbers and emails wherever you browse |
| Free plan | 40 credits a month: 1 per email, 5 per phone number |
| Cheapest paid plan | Starter: $49.90 monthly for 400 credits, or $37.45 billed yearly |
| Works on | LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Gmail, Google Calendar, your CRM, company websites |
| Chrome Web Store | 4.6 from 1,900 ratings, 400,000 users |
Lusha reveals verified emails, direct dials and mobile numbers, with company details such as headcount and industry. Its extension works on LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Gmail, Google Calendar, your CRM and company websites, and it can reveal several contacts at once and sync them to the CRM.
The catch is the credit maths. An email costs 1 credit and a phone number costs 5, so the free plan’s 40 credits come to 8 phone numbers a month. Starter credits do not roll over, and Lusha’s prices move with a credit slider, so the price in the table is the lowest step. Pick Lusha if phone numbers are the main thing you need and you look people up outside LinkedIn as well.
Kaspr: best for phone numbers on Sales Navigator, with Pipedrive and Zoho exports
| Best for | Phone numbers on LinkedIn and Sales Navigator |
| Free plan | 15 email, 5 phone and 5 direct email credits a month; no Sales Navigator |
| Cheapest paid plan | Starter: $65 per user monthly, or $49 billed annually |
| Works on | LinkedIn profiles, Sales Navigator (from Starter), groups and events |
| Chrome Web Store | 4.7 from 1,200 ratings, 100,000 users |
Kaspr reveals phone numbers and emails on LinkedIn profiles, Sales Navigator, groups and events, and can enrich whole searches in bulk. Leads land in a Kaspr dashboard with notes, lists and tasks, then export to Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive or Zoho. It also connects to Aircall and Ringover, so you can call straight from the lead.
The free plan does not work on Sales Navigator; that starts on Starter. Phone credits are capped on every plan, and the “unlimited” emails come with a fair use policy. One small warning: on the day we checked, Kaspr’s pricing page showed two different free email allowances, 15 and 25 a month. Pick Kaspr if you prospect on Sales Navigator, need phone numbers, and your CRM is Pipedrive or Zoho, which Apollo does not list.
Extensions that save LinkedIn contacts to your CRM
Surfe, LinkMatch and PortifyLead do a different job. They take the person you are looking at and create or update a record in your CRM, so the profile and the record stay in step. The first question here is simply whether your CRM is supported.
| Extension | Salesforce | HubSpot | Pipedrive | Zoho CRM | Also |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Surfe | Yes | Yes | Yes | Not listed | Copper, Google Sheets |
| LinkMatch | Not listed | Yes | Yes | Yes | Bigin, Copper, Close, Insightly, CSV, four recruiting systems |
| PortifyLead | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Capsule, Google Sheets |
Surfe: best for CRM saving with contact finding built in
| Best for | Teams that want contact finding and CRM saving in one sidebar |
| Free plan | 20 email and 5 mobile credits a month; adding to the CRM is limited |
| Cheapest paid plan | Essential: $49 per user monthly, or $39 billed annually |
| Sends contacts to | Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Copper, Google Sheets |
| Chrome Web Store | 4.4 from 59 ratings, 40,000 users |
Surfe puts a sidebar in LinkedIn that reveals verified emails and mobile numbers, then syncs the contact to your CRM. Surfe says it maps fields automatically and avoids creating duplicates. It draws contact data from more than 15 sources, can create deals from the profile, and adds contacts to Lemlist, Salesloft or Outreach sequences on its Pro plan.
The free plan is small: 20 email and 5 mobile credits a month, and adding to your CRM is limited. Google Sheets and the separate CRM connector start on the paid Essential plan, and everything is priced per user. Pick Surfe if your team runs Salesforce, HubSpot or Pipedrive and wants finding and saving in one sidebar.
LinkMatch: best for Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Close and Copper
| Best for | Seeing who is already in your CRM from the profile |
| Free plan | None; a 14-day trial with no card |
| Cheapest paid plan | Standard: €21.99 per user monthly, or €15.99 billed annually, with 300 email lookups |
| Sends contacts to | HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Bigin, Copper, Close, Insightly, CSV and four recruiting systems |
| Chrome Web Store | One listing per CRM: 5.0 from 11 ratings (Pipedrive), 4.5 from 18 (Zoho CRM) |
LinkMatch shows, on the profile itself, whether a person is already in your CRM. You can add them, open or edit the record, and create deals, activities or tasks with details filled in. It also syncs LinkedIn conversations into the CRM on its Professional plan, and it covers four recruiting systems alongside the sales CRMs.
LinkMatch sells a separate extension for each CRM, and Salesforce is not among them. There is no free plan, only a 14-day trial with no card, and prices are published in euros only. Ratings are split across the listings: the Pipedrive version has 5.0 from 11 ratings and the Zoho CRM version 4.5 from 18. Pick LinkMatch if you sell from Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Bigin, Close or Copper, or recruit from one of its supported applicant tracking systems.
PortifyLead: best for checking every field before it reaches your CRM
| Best for | Approving each record before it saves |
| Free plan | 15 saves a month, up to five with an AI Sales Brief |
| Cheapest paid plan | Pro: $15, or $13 billed annually, with unlimited saves |
| Sends contacts to | Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Capsule, Google Sheets |
| Chrome Web Store | New listing, no ratings yet |
PortifyLead saves the person you are viewing to Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Capsule or Google Sheets. It shows every value before anything is written, checks your CRM for an existing contact at the moment you save, and follows a field mapping you set once, custom fields included. If you have had a one-to-one conversation with the prospect, it can add an editable AI Sales Brief with the need, timing and next step it found.
It does not find emails or phone numbers, so it saves the details you can see and the ones you add. If contact finding is what you need, Surfe or Apollo is the better choice. The store listing is new and has no ratings yet, the free plan stops at 15 saves a month, and Free and Pro allow one active connection per integration. Pick PortifyLead if you use Capsule, Zoho CRM or Google Sheets, or you want to approve each record before it lands.
An extension for managing your LinkedIn network
LeadDelta: best for running your connections like a lightweight CRM
| Best for | Sorting and following up with your own network |
| Free plan | None; a 7-day trial |
| Cheapest paid plan | Starter: $25 per user monthly with 50 credits, or $17.50 billed yearly |
| Sends contacts to | HubSpot (beta) and Zapier, from the Pro plan; CSV |
| Chrome Web Store | 4.8 from 112 ratings, 10,000 users |
LeadDelta turns the connections you already have into something you can sort. You can tag people, add notes, build lists, set reminders and organise your LinkedIn inbox, and the same sidebar works on search pages and Sales Navigator. It also finds business emails, personal emails and phone numbers with credits.
There is no free plan, only a 7-day trial, and the Starter plan has no CRM sync: HubSpot (still in beta) and Zapier start on Pro. Credits go quickly on phone numbers, since one number costs 10 credits and Starter includes 50 a month. Pick LeadDelta if your pipeline is mostly your own network and you do not need a CRM sync yet. Pro, with the CRM sync, costs $55 per user a month.
How a CRM Chrome extension differs from a LinkedIn one
Search for “CRM Chrome extension” and most results are built for Gmail. Streak and Copper put a CRM inside your inbox, and Pipedrive’s own add-on is built for Gmail. They keep the deal next to the email thread.
| Where the extension lives | Examples | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Your inbox | Streak, Copper, Pipedrive’s Gmail add-on | Deals that start and continue by email |
| Surfe, LinkMatch, PortifyLead | Contacts you find and talk to on LinkedIn | |
| Both | Copper, Apollo.io, Lusha | Teams that switch between the two all day |
A LinkedIn CRM extension keeps the record next to the profile instead, which suits a different moment in the day: the minute you find someone worth talking to. If most of your first conversations start on LinkedIn, that is where the extension should live.
What a LinkedIn Chrome extension can do
A LinkedIn Chrome extension is a browser add-on that reads the LinkedIn page you have open and adds its own panel or button next to it. LinkedIn has no app store for this, so every extension works from the page itself. That is why two extensions with similar names can do very different things.
“LinkedIn extension”, “LinkedIn Chrome extension” and “LinkedIn Chrome plugin” all mean the same thing. Chrome retired plugins years ago; the word just never got the memo. Before you install any of them, four questions save trouble later:
- Does it read only the profile you have open, or whole search results and your inbox?
- Where does the data go: your CRM, the tool’s own database, or a file?
- Can you see and edit the values before anything is saved?
- Does it check for an existing contact, and at what moment?
What we learned building CRM saves
Building saves into six integrations taught us that the destination decides more than the extension does. Three findings apply to any tool on this list that writes to a CRM.
Your CRM may have no field for what you captured
A Pipedrive person holds a name, an email and a phone by default, and nothing else. Our first Pipedrive mapping also sent the job title and the LinkedIn URL. Pipedrive refused the whole save, including the name and email, because it rejects a request that names a field the account does not have.
| Detail from the LinkedIn profile | Field in a default Pipedrive person |
|---|---|
| Name | Yes |
| Yes | |
| Phone | Yes |
| Job title | Only after contact sync is set up |
| Website, city, country | No, create custom fields |
| LinkedIn profile URL | No, create a custom field |
So before you trust an extension to send a full profile, check that your CRM has somewhere to put each value. In Pipedrive that means creating custom fields first and mapping to them.
A notes field is not always there
Pipedrive only creates the notes field once someone sets up contact sync on the account. Reading a person record does not reveal this, because the record includes a notes key either way. We found out in production, when a save failed with an error while the same save without notes had just succeeded. PortifyLead now asks the account’s own field list first and tells you when notes are missing.
When the duplicate check runs matters
PortifyLead checks for an existing contact at the moment you save, by email. Checking while you browse would mean querying your CRM for every profile you glance at. Checking on save runs one lookup when it counts, and offers you the existing record to update instead of creating a second one.
| When the check runs | Lookups in your CRM | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| While you browse | One for every profile you open | A badge on profiles already in the CRM |
| When you save | One per save | The existing record, offered for update |
Both approaches can be right. LinkMatch shows whether a profile is already in your CRM as you browse; PortifyLead checks when you save. When you compare tools, ask each one when its duplicate check runs and what it matches on.
Questions
What is the best free LinkedIn Chrome extension?
For contact details, Apollo’s free plan has the most credits in this guide, 75 a month. For saving to a CRM, PortifyLead’s free plan includes 15 saves a month. LinkMatch and LeadDelta offer trials instead.
Is a LinkedIn Chrome plugin the same as an extension?
Yes. Chrome no longer runs plugins, so every “LinkedIn Chrome plugin” you find is an extension.
Does LinkedIn have its own Chrome extension?
Yes. LinkedIn Extension, offered by LinkedIn, shows a count of new activity. It does not save or enrich contacts.
Do I need Sales Navigator to use a LinkedIn Chrome extension?
Only for Evaboot. The others work on a regular LinkedIn account.
Which LinkedIn Chrome extensions work with Pipedrive?
Kaspr, Surfe, LinkMatch and PortifyLead list Pipedrive, and Evaboot lists it as coming soon. Create custom fields first if you want to save job titles or LinkedIn URLs.
Will a LinkedIn extension read my messages?
Some do. LeadDelta organises your inbox and LinkMatch can sync conversations. PortifyLead only reads a one-to-one conversation you choose, for an AI Sales Brief.
How do I remove a Chrome extension?
Open chrome://extensions, find the extension and click Remove. Contacts it already saved stay in your CRM or in its own service.
The best LinkedIn Chrome extension depends on the job you need done.
