Surfe vs PortifyLead: which one gets LinkedIn people into your CRM
Both put LinkedIn people into a CRM, and they sell different things. Surfe sells contact data: its plans are monthly allowances of email and mobile finds, from US$49 per user a month. PortifyLead sells the save: the profile in front of you, reviewed field by field, into the CRM you already use, from US$15 a month.
We make one of the two, and we have not run Surfe ourselves. Everything under their name comes from their own pricing and integrations pages, opened on 18 September 2026 and linked below. Where their pages say nothing, this page says nothing.
| Surfe | PortifyLead | |
|---|---|---|
| What the plan buys | Email and mobile number finds, by monthly allowance | Saves: the reviewed profile written into your CRM |
| Entry paid price | US$49 per user a month, US$39 billed annually | US$15 a month, US$156 a year |
| Top published price | US$89 per user a month, US$79 billed annually | US$39 a month, US$399 a year |
| Free plan | 20 email finds and 5 mobile finds a month | 15 saves and 5 AI Sales Briefs a month |
| CRMs named by the vendor | HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce; Copper on the pricing page | Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Capsule, Google Sheets |
| Finds an email address LinkedIn does not show | Yes, that is the product | No, not at any price |
| Writes up your conversation | Their pages do not describe one | The AI Sales Brief, reviewed before it is written |
| Duplicate handling | Their pages do not describe it | Searches your CRM by email as it saves, offers the match to update |
What each one is actually for
Surfe is for the moment you have a name and no way to reach them. The allowance is the product, and the CRM sync is how that data gets somewhere useful. PortifyLead is for the moment you have already reached them: the profile is open, the conversation happened, and what you want is that person in the CRM with the right fields, no second copy of them, and what you learned written down.
When to buy Surfe instead
If finding the email address is the job, buy Surfe. We do not do it, and this page would be worthless if it pretended otherwise. Their free plan is 20 finds a month, which is enough to tell whether the data is good for the people you sell to.
When PortifyLead is the better fit
When the contact details are not the problem, an allowance of finds is an allowance you will not spend. And when your CRM is not one of the three Surfe’s integrations page names: Zoho, Capsule, Close, Attio and Google Sheets do not appear on it, as it stood on 18 September 2026. Four of the six places we connect are not on it.
What we see in the field
The CRMs that get left off integration lists are the ones small teams choose for themselves, and there are a great many of those teams. That is the whole reason we exist, and it is not a criticism of Surfe, whose buyer is a team already on Salesforce or HubSpot.
Questions
Does Surfe have a free plan?
Yes: 20 email finds and 5 mobile finds a month, as its pricing page stated on 18 September 2026.
Is PortifyLead a Surfe alternative?
Only if what you wanted from Surfe was the save into your CRM. For finding contact data we are not a substitute at all, and you should buy the credits.
Which CRMs does Surfe work with?
Its integrations page names HubSpot, Pipedrive and Salesforce, and its pricing page also mentions Copper.
Can I use both?
Yes. They do different jobs and neither needs the other.
Which one is cheaper?
PortifyLead is US$15 a month against Surfe’s US$49 per user a month. They are not the same purchase, so the comparison only helps once you have decided you do not need finding credits.
